RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

As a "National High-Tech Enterprise" and "Hangzhou Patent Pilot Enterprise", Huisong Pharmaceuticals established Zhejiang Health Research Institute in 2018 to set up a provincial high-tech enterprise R&D center. Now there are more than 60 employees, including 50 full-time staff, 10 part-time professors and experts, 1 National thousand talent, 4 Zhejiang 151st century talents, and 1 young scholar in the research institute, which has formed a core R&D team with doctors and masters, undertaking a series of important scientific research tasks such as new product development and process improvement.

As the first pharmaceutical enterprise approved to produce "TCM Granules", Huisong has been invited to participate in the formulation of quality standards for granule prescription formulation in Zhejiang Province. In addition, Huisong also undertakes national, provincial, municipal and self-developed scientific research projects and topics, such as National Starfire Project “Key technology and industrialization demonstration of deep processing of Ginkgo biloba leaves with removal of harmful factors”, Zhejiang TCM Granules Scientific Research Project "Industrialization and Clinical Research of TCM Granules", "Research on the development and quality standard of the formula granules of Zhejiang 8 herbs and other Chinese herbs”, etc.

In terms of research, Huisong has not only been approved "Method for effective extraction of anthocyanin and anthocyanosides", " Renal aid preparation and quality control method", "Method for extracting ecdysone from Tendrils", "Method for discriminating the quality of herbs" and many other national invention patents, it also won such honors, like "National High-tech Enterprise", "The first batch of pilot enterprises of TCM granules in Zhejiang Province", "First prize of Science and Technology Award of Zhejiang Province", "First prize of Science and Technology Award of China Business Federation", etc. In order to enhance its strength on scientific research, Huisong also established long-term scientific research cooperation with universities, scientific research units and medical institutions across China.
